Dan RuleDan Rule

Dan has extensive experience in coaching at a national level and playing at an international level. He first represented Australia in the U/20 division at the 2004 World Ultimate Championships in Turku, Finland.

After co-captaining the Australian U/20 team in 2006, Dan became a member of the 2008 Australian Open team that placed 5th at the World Ultimate Championships in Vancouver, Canada. Dan has held the position of Development Director for the Australian Flying Disc Association for two years.

Dan has one remaining year of a Bachelor of Human Movement degree that enables him to prescribe effective training programs to high school aged students. As he completes his study, Dan volunteers as a coach of the University of Ballarat Ultimate team.

Matt Hill

Matt HillMatt is quite unique on the Ultimate Frisbee circuit as he combines experience as both a player and as a coach at an international level.

In 2006, Matt played for the Australian U/20 team that placed 4th in Boston, USA. In addition to this achievement, he was recognised as the ‘most spirited’ player of the Australian team at the tournament.

In 2008, Matt went on to be the Assistant Coach of the Australian U/20 Open team. This team placed 6th in their division at the World Ultimate Championships in Vancouver, Canada.

At present, Matt plays at the National level for his Melbourne club team and regularly volunteers his time and experience to coach National level youth teams. Matt has also held the position of Vice-President on the Victorian Flying Disc Association board for the past year.

Greta HuntGreta Hunt

Greta Hunt first represented Australia as a sixteen-year-old in the U/20 women’s division at the 2004 World Ultimate Championships. She went on to play the 2006 World Championships in Boston, USA on the bronze medal winning Australian team!

Since her involvement as a player within the Australian U/20 program, Greta has become an avid volunteer for the current athletes. Greta has volunteered at many of the national youth camps as both a coach and camp assistant. She also coached the Melbourne U/20 women’s team, Cooties, to victory at the 2008 Australian Youth Ultimate Championships.

Greta is studying Education at the University of Ballarat where she also coaches the local team along with Dan. Away from the Frisbee field, Greta works as a swimming instructor for toddlers and primary school students.
